Threadbare Gap, West Virginia - The focus of a recent symposium in this sleepy Appalachian village addressed the famous adage which alleges that a stitch in time saves nine. Scholars from around the world descended upon the campus of Rube State University last month to compare and contrast each other's research in the field.
After several days a surprising consensus was reached. A stitch in time may have saved nine at some point in the distant past, but now that same stitch in time actually saves eleven! In a world where the value of most things seems to only diminish, this is good news indeed.
