Wow! Who knew or could have guessed that the Donald Trump organization could have been found guilty of a scheme to fudge on his company's tax records? His company was guilty of criminal tax fraud by the Manhattan State Supreme Court. Testimony by the company's chief financial officer, Allen Weisselberg, proved essential to the case, sinking Trump directly into the Hudson River.
Trump's company provided off-the-books benefits to executives, for instance, paying Mr. Weisselberg in cash and Mr. Weisselberg using that money to pay for his grandchildren's school tuition.
A footnote to this situation is: Will the school have to return the money paid for tuition as it was fraudulently acquired? Will the Weisselberg grandchildren for whom the stolen tuition money was spent be expelled? If both questions are ignored, will parents of other students who paid the total price out of their legitimate earnings demand a discount or expulsion of the Weisselberg grandchildren?
Why should the grandchildren of Mr. Weisselberg be victimized because of grandpa and Donald Trump's actions?
It gets complicated.
