Think warm thoughts, sir.

Watching TV while suffering from acute constipation and waiting to go to the ER, I came up with what may be my most clever pun yet.

I just finished watching Henrik Ibsen's "An Enemy of the People," and considering my condition I've slightly changed his original title and story line.

In the original story, the Norwegian doctor is declared "An Enemy of the People" by the townspeople when he announces that the spring water is polluted.

In the pun version, Ibsen's tale is about a Norwegian doctor who discovers that the polluted water in the spring the town depends on for its tourist trade is actually a cure for constipation: "An Enema of the People. "

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
