Los Angeles, CA: A children's laxative peddled by street vendors in Chinatown has been confiscated by DEA agents. The product in question was called Ganesha's Blessing Gentle Grunts Stool Softner .

It was designed to look like an Indian product but had nothing to do with India. Authorities were alerted when four children in Hollywood, and 23 adult women in Beverly Hills were admitted to the ER for GI distress and heart palpitations.

A medical doctor who wanted his name withheld said it was very popular among the adults for dieting. According to the FDA the ingredients were mainly fibrous wood pulp and caster oil, but this batch showed high levels of phenteramine and trace amounts of methylphenidate, both powerful stimulants. Everyone has made a full recovery.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
