When you add up all the hours spent by all the people who have ever watched TV, the scope of the loss of life becomes clear. Viewers can't resist the spectacle of the glowing screen and fall victim to its hypnotic effect, and sit spellbound for hours. Whoever calls it entertainment only shows the sorrowful state of their mind.
This device is responsible for the imprisonment and execution of millions of innocent people. Their lives were squandered away while they gawked at the tube. They never considered the magnitude of the sociological suicide they helped propagate, but that does not excuse their negligence and irresponsibility nor does it mitigate their crime against humanity. On the contrary, they will not be spared from punishment because watching television is it's own penalty, though the viewer doesn't realize it until later--but by that time it's too late.
So beware of this sinister situation. The problem starts early in life when parents use the TV as a virtual baby sitter. Kids watch cartoons and other idiotic programming that insults the intelligence of a chimpanzee. TV has a way of tricking them into thinking that what they watch on the screen is real, not a prerecorded video program. The announcer says it's "Live!" and the home audience believes it.
