I'm going to go to the polling station and choose the least despicable of x number cynical warmongers who are bombing people in other countries in the name of their own moral charisma and divine mission, destabilising entire regions purely in the name of their petty self-interest, and deliberately and maliciously placing the wellbeing lives of UK citizens at risk...
But you don't go to the polling station for the Machiaevllian dictator you want, you to go to the polling station for the elected dictator you can get.
More importantly perhaps, you just don't understand your objective interest. If only you knew what was good for you and in your own best interest, you would vote in someone who really, REALLY understood your interests better than you know them yourself.
But then, that wouldn't be hard, would it?
Don't let radical extremists like the BNP, UKIP, SWP, EDL or Tories come to power. If you don't vote, democracy itself is mortally imperilled.
Yes, that's right. Pretty scary isn't it? If YOU don't vote, then any future dictatorship will be YOUR fault, and YOUR FAULT alone.
You never thought about that one, huh? Well, reflexivity is not your thing really, is it? Go to that station and save democracy. You know it makes sense. We believe in you. We trust in the power of the people.
Don't let some bloodthirsty, cynical, Machiavellian hooligan come to power and oppress UK citizens and wreak havoc abroad. Vote for Labour instead, or at least one of the Big Three.
Well, I'm sure a bright young lad/lass like you knows the difference, right? ;)
