Lady Gaga, apparently tired of having her original songs panned as being Madonna sound-alikes, has decided to openly copy some of her favorite songs.
Doing a cover of a cover, Lady Gaga has just released her exact copy of Captain and Tennille's cover of the hit song "Muskrat Love."
"I love everything about that song," says Gaga. I love bacon, I love cheese, I love jinging the jango and I love muskrats."
Gaga believes also that by doing songs like this, she'll get people like Madonna and Elton John, and all the other hundreds of artists lining up to sue her for plagiarism off her back. "I'll just do dippy songs that no one really cares about and that will stop the controversy."
Gaga is planning a collaboration with Susan Boyle on the hit song, "Islands in the Stream" originally recorded in 1983 by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers. Said Gaga, "With the right wigs and makeup, I think me and SuBo could really pull this one off."
