LONDON - Susan Boyle, one of Scotland's most famous citizens, was at Buckingham Palace having a spot of tea with none other that the queen of all queens herself, Queen Elizabeth II, or as stand up comedian Zydeco Dupree refers to her Lizzy 2.
SuBo, who has stated that she really prefers to be called SusBoy, said that she has found Great Britain's most famous queen to be very nice, intelligent, and one gob-smacked hat freak.
The Scottish lass laughed and then said that she was of course referring to England's most famous queen, Elton of John. A grin came over SuBo's face that made her look like the fat Glasgow cat that swallowed the edible Edinburgh canary.
Boyle, who said that the e in her last name is silent said that even though Johnny (Elton) is not really a real queen like Elizabeth, Anne, or Nathan (Lane), he does have the part down pat, (quasi-pun not of the intended variety).
Miss Boyle was asked about her planned trip to Bombay, India. She smiled, took a drink of her crumpet Margarita and said that she was looking forward to traveling to India.
She said that she had never been to India and the closet that she had ever gotten to India was one night when she stayed at The Bay of Bengal Motel in Pimlico, which is owned by a very nice and spicy Indian couple Mr. and Mrs. Malmood Kharbanda.
SuBo said that the British all-girl band The Bonkettes will also be appearing on the concert bill as will American Idol's Sanjaya Malakar, Paula Abdul, and Ryan Seacrest, who will be performing some of his original songs on the Glockenspiel for the very first time.
