After they were linked throughout 2009 as artists that burst onto the scene and captured the heart of music fans in wholly contrasting ways, Adam as a loud, peacock-dressing gay full of confidence, Susan Boyle was just the opposite.
But after each released their first album, it was Susan Boyle who broke all the records (no pun intended).
This didn't exactly please Adam Lambert.
In a recent interview, Adam ripped Susan a new bun with:
If only it weren't for that stupid heifer Susan Boyle! I'm happy for her success, but that album is terrible. "Wild Horses" is the one that made me laugh the hardest. I just died when I heard it, I was crying with laughter. It was the most horrendous, sacrilegious treatment of that song!
Not one to shrink when she hears her voice compaired to a heifer or "a dying calf in a hailstorm" as they say, Boyle shot right back at Lambert.
"He thinks he's hot shit and that's exactly what he is, hot shit. Something you want to be sure to step over. Anyone who is more concerned about his looks than his singing ability, is a first class arse!"
"Roy Orbison wasn't the most handsome singer in the world, looked a bit like a ferret, but who could ever sing like Roy? Wait until 'Pretty Boy' gets some age one him!"
