SuBo has spoken movingly of her love for her pet parrot. The Scottish singing sensation recently purchased the parrot from an unknown man who was suffering from an incurable fungal infection. The parrot is said to have a rather limited vocabulary and has also got a drink problem, but none of this has stopped SuBo from falling in love with him.
"When I first saw him I knew that I had to take him home with me. His owner had been to see for many years and was now unable to look after him anymore due to the fungal infection getting worse. Now this parrot sits by my side and keeps me company. He is a wonderful character, although he is costing me a fortune in Vodka. He even sings along with me sometimes. I might even record an album with him."
The parrot was asked for a comment. "Bollocks!"
It could be a very interesting album, possibly SuBo's most musically challenging yet. Already Simon Cowell has been seeking a producer who has gained experience of working with a drunk bird who sings out of tune. All those who have worked with Amy Winehouse are said to be interested.
