Insane Pop superstar Michael Jackson has announced today the setlist for the 50 night run which he will be performing in the O2 arena in London later this year.
At time of the original announcement of the shows, Jackson said simply "I will be performing the songs my fans want to hear".
What has come as a massive surprise to the 750,000 fans who have purchased tickets to the shows is that the setlist makes it clear that the King of Pop will be performing no songs of his own. Instead he will be performing his own versions of the greatest hits of ABBA.
A spokesman explained, "In the last 12 months, Michael has become a significant fan of the movie Mamma Mia. He loves it. Because of that movie Michael has decreed that Benny is the true King of Pop and is going to use the shows to prove it. Michael thinks that ABBA's songs are the ones that his fans really want to hear and the film's DVD sales seemed to prove him right."
Pierce Brosnan has also confirmed today that Jackson has asked him to reprise his universally acclaimed role of "Sam Carmichael" for the shows.
