Following on from their groundbreaking video 'House of Cards' which was shot entirely without cameras, Radiohead have announced their next video 'That's just noise' will be filmed without music.
Lead singer Thom Yorke , 39, said yesterday 'We wanted to push the boundaries of what is achievable in music videos. By making it contain neither music or video we believe we will get headlines without paying some record company PR firm, thousands of our hard-earned dollars.'
The concept for the video 'That's just noise' is that whenever the video is selected for download on YouTube, the user will be asked for their address and will subsequently receive a nice hand-written letter from the band describing what the song is like.
Plans for showing it on TV are yet to be finalised due to 'logistical reasons'
