Rock group Guns N' Roses are set to join the lineup for a once -off spectacular Rock edition of the immensely popular hit TV talent show American Idol.

Host Ryan Seacrest announced the hotly anticipated news by accident on his radio show while talking dirty to himself while masturbating to images of Axl Rose in a fruit hat.

This will be the first time that the entire lineup with be reunited on stage since the split between frontman Axl Rose and guitarist Slash.

The group will mentor the remaining finalists for a week which is expected to involve kinky group bondage S & M sessions in a Hollywood dungeon and tutoring in the fine art of pissing people off.

Other bands taking part include big-haired Swedish group Europe who will perform 3 different versions of their song ' The Final Countdown' including one played on the lead singer Joey Tempest's penis.

Also involved are Slipknot - who will perform naked with Clay Aiken on a cover of the Monkey's 'Daydream Believer'.

Simon Cowell will wear an all-in-one Lycra body-suit and leather cod-piece - instead of his usual waist-high pants - in honor of the rock theme.
