Comedian Robin Williams and his long-suffering wife are set to divorce after she filed against him claiming 'irreconcilable differences'.
She is his second wife and was the former nanny to his previous wife's kids. She fell in love with him because of his zany humor and incredible wealth earned from TV show 'Mork and Mindy' and 'Aladdin'.
They split on New Years Eve after she could no longer disguise her hatred of Williams' follicle abundance.
"When they met, Robin was a clean-cut guy ", said an insider, "but as the years passed, he developed this weird matt of hair which took over his entire body. No woman could've stuck that".
"She tried to coax him gently into doing something about his hirsute-ness by giving him gifts such as hair clippers and razor blades", continued the very nosy insider, "but on New Years Eve she went too far and told him out straight that he was a fricken monkey man. Williams' hit the roof and they haven't spoken since".
The 'Bicentennial Man' and 'Good Morning Vietnam' actor is covered in thick, downy hair like some sort of man-beaver.
Small children have been known to run screaming from swimming pools when they see him appearing.
Williams next film role is in a remake of The Littlest Hobo - he will play the hairy dog.
