(MUSICMAN PRESS) The Texas Committee of Country Clubs (TCCC) decided to make the change in attire last week. Said TCCC Board Administrator Dick Hardy. "We all agreed to go with the more professional appearance because, by and large, the majority of our patrons are former businessmen. This idea was intended to attract more men to our courses."
The new dress code states that anyone of the putting green must wear a dress shirt, a brimmed hat, slacks, a blazer, and a woven tie, or bowtie. Also no colors other than black are white are allowed.
Many a golfer is upset with the new standards. However, President Bush endorses the changes, and pleased they took place in his native Texas.
