Hollywood, CA. U.S.A. - In a surprising turn of events following the release of George W. Bush's pay stubs, a newly released document reveals that the "President" was not A.W.O.L. after all - he was on duty serving Disney Corporation.
"Georgie", as he was dubbed for the famous Mickey Mouse Club, had "special duties of a patriotic rodent nature" according to a newly released un-classified document.
"I think this finally puts to rest any questions about the President's whereabouts and activities during that period of time that he was being paid but wasn't actually fighting or anything." said White House representative Douglas Brownoze, "In this photo you can see him proudly wearing his service uniform - along with his mouse ears of course."
Disney corporation's Mike Eisner would not comment due to the pressures associated with a hostile take-over bid that threatens to force him out of a job.
Annette Fornicello however issued the following statement: "George, Oh I remember HIM... he never called me again though when he was done with me - I mean WITH THE SHOW - so, yeah... Georgie... "
Disney stock plummeted as a result of the story.
