Once more into another Donald Trump hallucination. Donald Trump is insisting that he was in a helicopter crash that never happened with California Democratic political figure Willie Brown.
Trump insists that he and Willie Brown, former California Speaker of the House and Mayor of San Francisco, were in a helicopter crash. He says that Mr. Brown told Mr. Trump many terrible facts about his presidential opponent, Kamala Harris and that Mr. Brown was not a fan of hers.
Hold it. Put the brakes on that. The former San Francisco Mayor and California Speaker of the House insists he was never on a helicopter with Donald Trump.
Okay.
But Donald Trump insists and says he has the flight logs that prove Mr. Brown was on a helicopter that almost crashed and that, “We thought that it was the end.”
California Governor Gavin Newson says, “Trump’s story is a lot of B.S.”
Ouch.
Could it have been on a helicopter ride with former Governor Jerry Brown? Brown was indeed on a helicopter once upon a time with Donald Trump, but there was no close call. Or, this is the end crash landing. Maybe a rough landing. Okay?
Not okay, Trump continues to insist. “It was a crash landing, and it was with Willie Brown, and he told me many, many terrible things about Kamala Harris. I have the flight logs.”
Produce the flight logs. So far, crickets.
Finally, Willie Brown says, “I don’t think I’d want to ride on the same helicopter with him. There are too many people that have an agenda with reference to him, including the people who service helicopters.”
Ouch again. Right? Right.
