An unnamed Hollywood studio has been busted attempting to dig up the bodies of several dead 'stars', including Steve McQueen, Judy Garland, and Robert Shaw.
It's thought that the studio wanted McQueen for a Magnificent Seven sequel, Garland for a Wizard of Oz sequel, and Shaw for a Jaws redo.
Family and friends of the beloved stars are said to be outraged by the fiasco, and are attempting to sue the studios on behalf of their dead amigos. The industry is countersuing, based on the assumption that they have creative rights to these brands, and can 'recall' their actors as needed, even if they have already died.
It appears that, after this case is decided, the studios can focus on pre-production and scriptwriting.
In a leak provided by an insider within the industry, she said that she got a glimpse of Steve McQueen's 40-year-old dead body and said, "I'd still bone him!"
