BROOKLYN - Lady Gaga and a member of her band were having drinks at The Plastered Platypus Lounge, which reportedly is Kelly Ripa's favorite New York City night club.
Gaga has been criticized by several members of the entertainment press for the costume that she wore down in Puerto Rico at a Halloween Party in honor of Puerto Rico's infamous cross dressing welterweight boxer Hernando "Perfume" Del Pajarito (17-0).
Lady Gaga stated that she was originally going to attend the gala dressed as a Hostess Twinkie, but when she found out that two other females were dressing up as Twinkies she decided to go with something else.
Her personal seamstress Pascuala Cartameister quickly went to work on sewing a costume which Lady Gaga had described to her in detailed detail.
The outfit was green in color and was an exact replica of a marijuana plant.
Needless to say Lady Gaga was the hit of the party as everyone went up to her and took a sniff of her costume, which of course smelled like cloth and did not smell anything at all like marijuana as some guest mistakenly believed.
The next day Lady Gaga read in the newspapers that several of the guests had complained that the "Born This Way" singer was allegedly seen smoking parts of her costume.
One unidentified guest revealed that he has smoked over 4,000 marijuana joints in his life and he knows marijuana when he smells it.
SIDENOTE: Lady Gaga has publicly apologized if some of the guests detected the aroma of marijuana on her costume. She pointed out that she thinks the smell may have come from another guest Penelope "Yo-Yo" Soundfuggle of Panama City, Florida, who was dressed as a marijuana bong.
