She's back and she's pissed off again.

Former trailblazing, pissed off but still bald, pop protest singer, Sinead O'Connor, announced a separation from her husband after just two weeks and two days of marriage.

The controversial 80's ballad queen was the toast of Ireland and the world for a brief moment with the success of her debut album, "The Lion and the Cobra". "But then she went on national television and ripped up a picture of the Pope. That went over like a fart in church", says British media critic, Ellison Rolland. Since then O'Connor has stayed out of the spotlight collaborating with other artists and playing to whatever crowd she can draw.

"I don't think being out of the spotlight is her choice", comments Rolland. "It's kind of hard to front for a political cause when you can't get out in front of the cameras for a political cause".

Other insiders agree and wonder if O'Connor's marriage to the large foreheaded man known as Barry Herridge was truly one intended to last. "Well, they actually got married in a pink Cadillac at a drive-through wedding chapel in Las Vegas", says Rolland. "You do the math on that one".

There was no confirmation of the rumor that O'Connor had hired Kris and Kim Kardashian as publicity consultants in advance of the made-for-photo-op wedding. Hired witnesses at the wedding however, recall seeing Sinead lean over to her then fiancée and asking, "What was your name again?"

Regardless of original intent or Kardashian influence, O'Connor is back in the spotlight. While she might not care to talk about the failed nuptials, it may what gets her back into the interview chair. "And maybe that's what she wants", says Rolland. "How better to promote a social or political issue than to start out by weeping on air over your failed marriage. The public bought the Kardashian boondoggle, why not this one?"

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
