Mo Diddley said that receiving the job offer was a proud moment for the whole family.

Relatives of deceased Blues Guitarist Bo Diddley were amazed to receive a letter offering him the job of CEO of BP.

Bo Diddley, who died in 2008, was a rock and roll vocalist, guitarist, songwriter, and inventor. His mother, 110 year old Mo Diddley, said that receiving the job offer was a proud moment for the whole family.

But their joy was short lived when it turned out that the offer was the result of a typing error in BP's HR department, and the letter should have gone to Bob Dudley, an existing BP employee. The error was soon corrected.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
