Los Angeles - (Insolvent Ass Mess): "Even his reputed ownership of the Beatles Songbook was a class-act whopper, right off the Richter scale!" was how one LA lawyer described Michael Jackson's estate following the FBI's freezing of all the singer's assets today.
A frantic shoring up exercise is now under way as Jackson's own attorneys struggle to keep the lid on their ex-client's liabilities, rumored to be in excess of $2.5billion.
"The entertainer's intellectual property rights have always been a massive fiction, on a par with JK Rowling's authoriship of the Harry Potter Stories," Bel Air attorney Sam Shapini commented today.
Perhaps the two are, like, karmically related?
