CICERO, Illinois - (Satire News) - The McDonalds Corporation has always listened to the buying public.
In a move that will most assuredly increase Mickey D's burger sales, the big burger giant is now selling Diet Big Macs.
The new burger only has 2¼ calories, no trans fat, no sodium, and only three grains of reconstituted sugar per patty.
A recent market test was conducted at one of the McDonalds in Laredo, Texas, and sales of the new Diet Big Mac were so amazing that the restaurant actually ran out of the new diet burger by 11:25 am.
Luckily they were able to have 6,000 Diet Big Mac beef patties flown in from a Mickey D's outlet in San Antonio, which is only 25 minutes from Laredo by air.
SIDENOTE: The American Foodie News Agency reports that the US Department of Nutritional Nutrition has given the new Diet Big Mac it's coveted 5 ketchup packets rating.
