I was laying in bed reading the paper with my new Polish gardener Grzegorz, when he came out with something very profound, he said: "If I can love you, why do not all of Britisher peoples love you?"

I'll have to give that one some thought.

I thought I'd spotted Ed Miliband in the house of commons yesterday, but it was probably just my imagination.
