I made my return to Manchester United on pre-season duty.

But United failed to find the net in a tough match against Norwegian opposition Valarenga as my manager Sir Alex Ferguson stayed behind in Manchester to push the club's drive for wantaway Arsenal captain Robin van Persie.

The result didn't matter all that much being a pre-season friendly.

All the lads enjoyed the game, even Rio stopped scowling at times during the match.
