Dear Diary,

We have given up entirely on becoming pirates but not without giving it a good try.

My final idea was to have a lot of backdrop of an ocean painted and we had our "boat" staged up front with the cameras rolling.

I looked my most stern and warned the western world that Osama Bin Laden had taken to the high seas.

Then the parrot on my right shoulder exploded in the sun's heat.

I just gave it up!

I cannot hear out of my left ear.

Rameed got seasick from looking at the backdrop and the rolling cameras.

It is not meant to be. We will have to think of another way to get back on top of the news.

Maybe I will wait until I can hear good.
