So we beat Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield yesterday to stay in the top 4, above Chelsea and Liverpool in the race for the 4th Champions League spot.

And, much to my bewliderment, I, Arsene Cuthbert Rene Wenger, have won the Manager of The Month award for February. Yes. I will repeat that again. I have won the Manager of The Month awards for February.

A month in which we lost 4-0 to AC Milan (champions League) and 2-0 to Sunderland (FA Cup) and the press were writing me off, and measuring up Owen Coyle for the managers hot seat. The month finished well of course when we beat Tottenham 5-2 which must have swung it in my favour.

Or maybe they just felt sorry for me. It was certainly a better February than 2011 when we failed to beat Leyton Orient in the FA Cup, and then lost the Carling Cup Final to a last minute goal against Birmingham.
