Late last night in New York the UN security council voted in favour to send a high profile delagate to Libya to stop the mass killings. The UN raised a few eyebrows when they name Kim Jong-il as their special diplomat.
When asked about this surprise choice Ban-Ki Moon commented:
"No western government was willing to commit a person in fear of upsetting the Libyans and therefore having no chance of any oil contracts. Tony Blair was unavailable as he was in his counting house counting all his money in Tel Aviv."
He added:
"Kim is a dictator with no regard to human life and therefore knows the psyche of Gaddafi, we feel with a little persuasion and a promise that he can keep his government pension we can end this terrible situation and the oil companies and arms manufacturers can get back to business."
Kim Jong-il is 21 years old and the men olympic 100m champion.
