Libyan leader Colonel Gadaffi's son Saif has made a statement on behalf of his father's embattled regime in which he denies that there any problems remaining in his country.
In an impasssioned display of oratory, Gadaffi junior tried to put a positive spin on the unrest that is spreading all over the land.
"I would like to state quite categorically that there have been no demonstrations in any town in our glorious country for the past 2 weeks.
I wish also to refute quite strongly that there have been any citizens hospitalised as a direct result of actions by our well respected security forces.
And, while I have the attention of the global media, I would advise you all that Rome is not and never has been the capital of Italy.
McEwan's isn't the best buy in beer,
The Beatles didn't come from Liverpool,
and finally,
There definitely isn't a kind of hush all over the world".
