The 1924 Finnish Bobsleigh team who mysteriously disappeared following their Gold Medal winning run have finally been located after being missing for an incredible 84 years.
An archaeology team led by Heinrich Slapp III, Great Grandson of team leader Heinrich Slapp I, has located the team complete with bobsleigh frozen in an ice floe near Grenoble in the French alps.
The four Olympians were found intact looking exactly the same as they did on the fateful day they disappeared in 1924.
Experts have been able to study all four men who will now be returned to their families for proper burials.
Mr Slapp said "Its absolutely incredible to find my Great Grandfather and his colleagues after all this time."
The teams families will now be presented with posthumous Gold Medals by the International Olympic Committee President.
