Australian Prime Minister John Howard's relationship with his treasurer has taken yet another beating today. It now appears that, not only has he never invited Peter Costello and his wife around for dinner, he hasn't even invited him to be his MySpace friend.
John Howard doesn't believe in 'symbolism', so much so that he won't apologise for his country's atrocities because it's 'just symbolism'. However, the lack of his right-hand-man in his MySpace 'Top Friends' speaks volumes.
John Howard's attempt to 'be cool with the kids' has misfired completely. At the time of writing, Howard has only nine friends... and one of them is 'Tom'. His opponent Kevin Rudd has well over 7000 friends.
The Polls have looked bad enough but, if this MySpace poll is any indication, Howard could have even less friends come election time.
