Washington, D.C. - Calling it yet another example of the extent of the control of the media by liberals, former Virginia Gov. and Republican Jim Gilmore announced he is no longer seeking the nomination of his party for the 2008 Presidential candidacy, blaming it on the cancellation of the long running WB TV show, "The Gilmore Girls."
"They knew that was the only thing keeping me in the race," said an angry Gilmore.
Gilmore claims that without that show no body knew whom he was or that he was running for the Presidency in 2008.
"That show gave me name recognition," continued Gilmore. "Now all that's gone and once again no body knows who I am anymore."
Gilmore also claims the show was cancelled by labials fearing that the show was helping his bid for the highest office in the land.
In a phone call to the WB TV network, executives there claimed they did not know who I was talking about, "Gilmore who?" said an executive.
Shortly thereafter all photographs taken of Gilmore began to fade away until…wait…what was I just writing about?
