Bertie Ahern has been Teachta Dála (Member of Parliament) since 1977 and represents the constituency of Dublin Central.
Instead of his usual gift of Lockes Malt Limited Edition Irish Whiskey, he decided that he should give the president something that more suited Mr. Bush's personality. He presented President Bush with a large bouquet of California sinsemilla.
"The marijuana is...10 times better than...the legal drugs," said Ahern, "and from the look on the president's face, I'd say that he's been smoking quite a bit of it."
When the reporter asked the president what sinsemillia was, President Bush replied, "What is sinsemilla? ...If you have to ask... She is one horny lady that will mess you up. If you can smoke a whole joint of this stuff, you got burned and you ain't smoking sinsemilla. It is good stuff gawd dammit"
