The McDonalds in France are a little bit different than the ones in the United States. For one, the menu's are in French (LOL).
Another unique feature that is distinctive to the French Mickey D's is that in France patrons are allowed to BYOB (of wine).
At first the McDonalds headquarters in Cicero, Illinois did not like the idea of customers being allowed to bring in their own beverage.
But when research tests were conducted regarding the BYOB idea, the results clearly showed that if the French customers were allowed to bring in their own wine, that the number of customers would actually go up by an average of 37%, so as they say in France...Viola Personnes! ■
