Global Warming will cause the Polar Bear to become extinct within 2 years a spokesman for the World Wildlife Fund stated. 'The icecap is melting at an unprecedented rate, and the Polar Bear's natural habitat will be all gone by the winter of 2009.
In a bold plan, sponsored jointly by the WWF and Foxes Glacier Mints, a whole colony of polar bears is to be airlifted 6,000 miles to Antarctica where they may be able to survive. The Managing Director of Foxes issued a press release at 2.00pm today. 'We must do everything we can to save the polar bear, otherwise they will be left without a mint to stand on'
It will be a desperate race against time, and with latest reports indicating that world sea levels will rise by up to 100 meters per year there is no time to lose. Other reports are more optimistic though, and the figure could be as little as 100 millimetres per century.
