Feb. 26, 2007. Al Gore who was presented with an Oscar last night for Best Documentary for An Inconvenient Truth, today was informed that he would have to give the Trophy back after losing in a recount.
The actual winner was A Convenient Lie, a documentary about how the Bush Administration fudged the truth about Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq and how they should be applauded for it rather than condemned. Just because. The film was financed by Ann Coulter, who turns out to be a descendant of Leni Riefenstahl, the Nazi propagandist.
Gore, when informed of the situation, said, "I'm not giving this back. It's in a lock-box. And besides, due to global warming, it melted anyhow". It appears the U.S. Supreme Court is going to have to decide who the real winner is, once again.
