Amidst all the high excitement and controversy being generated by the run-up to the US presidential election, and the 'snagging' of Donald Trump by the deadly Coronavirus, other news seems to have gone unnoticed, and in this category is the inescapable fact that the 7th of October is looming large.
It's tomorrow.
And hardly anybody has noticed.
Today is the 6th of October, and, with the calendar working like it does, the moment the minute-hand clicks past midnight wherever you are tonight, the fun will start, and it'll be the 7th once more, just as it was at the same time last year!
Experts say that the 7th will be followed by the 8th, the 9th, the 10th, and so on until the 31st, by which time the 7th will have faded into oblivion.
