A man in a city center drew stares from passing shoppers on Saturday, when he displayed what can only be described as 'transvestital tendencies'.
The man, aged about 40, was walking around the market, dressed in a torn and dirty pink, women's nightgown, and had a face full of make-up. His hair resembled rats' tails.
Other shoppers stared in disbelief as the man swayed his hips and tottered precariously in high heels that looked like they had seen better days.
He inspected the goods at a ladies' make-up stall, and then lingered around a lingerie stall, before dramatically flinging his head back in mock camp fashion, and mincing off in the direction of the river.
