Former president Bill Clinton has provoked outrage after the White House received a massive telephone bill. Officials discovered that a telephone in a now unused part of the building had failed to be placed down properly and has been connected to a premium rate sex chat line since March 1993. The American government now faces a $180 million phone bill.
When interviewed by reporters Bill Clinton denied any wrong-doing, claiming that he phoned the X-rated number by mistake while attempting to order a pizza. When reporters pointed out that a pornographic magazine dating from 1993 with the sex chat ad circled in red ink had also been discovered Clinton continued to claim innocence and attempted to change the subject by talking about last night's television.
