Police are not sure why a noted Congressman committed suicide early this morning.

The first officer on scene stated at first they suspected foul play, but where informed later by Secret Service agents that it was suicide.

"I gota hand it to the guy," one officer at the scene stated.

"It was amazing how he was able to tie his hands behind his back, shoot himself in the head, hang himself and then set himself on fire, it was just amazing.

Many of his colleges believed that he couldn't handle the thought, that this afternoon he was going in front of a Grand Jury with evidence of wide spread corruption in the Senate and Congress.

"Now we'll never know what he was going to say," one nervous Congressman stated.

The coroner was waiting on toxicity reports before naming the cause of death, but he suspected it had something to do with the large hole in his head, strangulation by hanging and severe third degree burns to his whole body The coroner was informed by Secret Service agents that they didn't believe the toxicity report would show anything; however, to be sure, they agreed to take everything to their lab and process it themselves.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
