Sarah Palin is pushing her oldest daughter into the political arena whether she likes it or not. After Levi Johnston announced his intended run for Mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, Bristol came forward and said she may run for the same office.
We all know that most folks in Wasilla expect that neither one of the brash young political hopefuls will actually follow through with their threats-yes, in Wasilla, when one announces a run for office, the reason, more often than not, is not to serve the people but to get at someone they don't particularly like and gain the power to make their lives a living hell.
Just the same. The political climate is heating up in Wasilla and we all know what that means-new reality television shows. Expect at least two or three new reality television shows to spawn from this latest piece of news. In fact, one could predict that even if Levi or Bristol did become Mayor, not much business would get done as they'd be too busy filming the next episode.
Meanwhile, there are some mayoral hopefuls who actually want the job to do some good in the town, but good luck to them. Without special interest money and a television show contract coming down the pike, who the hell would vote for them?
