Spare any change, Gov?!

A growing number of Susan Boyle fanatic's wealthy husbands have filed for bankruptcy over the last few days, after the fanatic's beloved meeting place was offline for a second day. The fanatics had nothing better to do than spend their wealthy husband's money.

"I'm sure I had more money than this!" complained a wealthy husband. "I hadn't seen my wife for over a year since she started using these forums, then all of a sudden she appeared and asked for a credit card. Next thing I know, there are 10,000 red scarves, 50,000 copies of Susan Boyle's CD, and 30,000 bottles of imported 'Irn Bru' in the house, and the bank's on the phone demanding money!" he continued.

"I knew something was wrong when my wife suddenly asked how things were going at work. I hardly recognised her at first, having last seen her in March 2009. The kids thought an intruder had entered the house!" grumbled another husband.

The fanatic's meeting place was forced offline when the army of staff attempted to upgrade the vBullshit software. "We hit problems because the new version has a built-in 'good taste' module which we can't disable. Unfortunately, this kicked in during the upgrade and automatically deleted 99% of the forum posts. It also deleted all the current members, and made all previously banned members administrators. It's a bit of a disaster really," moaned a chief fanatic.

A head chief fanatic, who seems to live in the 12th century, said "All the ladies can use the time to clean up after their husbands who can sit on their asses and watch football! I have mine shackled to the kitchen sink!"

"I can only hope the silly forum comes back to life soon," wept a husband while filling out his Welfare application form.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
