In the Rolling Stones story on General Stanley McChrystal, it seems evident that these two men don't see eye to eye on how to wage the war against the nasties. With nothing going right in Afghanistan except the abundant poppy harvest, McChrystal voiced his displeasure regarding the rules of engagement decreed by Obama.
Calling the President a "disengaged dilettante" probably won't help McChrystal be appointed to the Joint Chiefs of Staff, however it might help him if he runs against Obama for President in 2012. Knowing that, it is doubtful if Obama will fire him. But he may not have the option if the General quits, as is reported he will.
Calling to mind that more and more Americans believe that a black cat in the White House is bringing bad luck to our country, it is just a matter of time before Animal Control is called in to clean up the scat.
