Carrie Prejean issued an angry press release today regarding her Larry King interview.
"I never got the chance to explain to that dirty old man why I made that tape. It was God's will. I was reading my bible one day and listening to The Beach Boys singing Good Vibrations when I came across the page that reads....
"Do not hide your bushel under a light" and I knew at that moment what I must do. Whlie shopping at a Christain book store I had found a section in a back room..... get closer to your maker...and...well.... I purchased an instrument of personal gratification. I really didn't know what it was for and put it away...until the day I was reading the bible and listening to the Beach Boys.....I knew then that God and The Beach Boys had spoken to me.....I got out my camcorder....and you know the rest. I would no longer hide my bushel under a light!"
As Ms. Prejean smiled benignly, a reporter from the AP asked...."But Ms. Prejean....the bible quote is actually..."Don't hide your light under a bushel" ....not... Don't hide your bushel under a light.....didn't you get it wrong?"
Still smilling benignly.....Ms. Prejean abruptly walked out of the press conference saying...."Whatever. I have never regretted it...God works in mysterouis ways.....his wonders to be..hold"
Ms. Prejean is scheduled to hold a prayer vigil at The Playboy Mansion in Chicago this next week. The title of her sermon is: "One in the hand is worth two in the bush.......you never have to walk alone"
