HOLLYWOOD - The captain of The Maersk Alabama, Capt. Richard Phillips, who was held captive by the Somali Pirates has agreed to guest star on an upcoming episode of "Dancing With The Stars."

DWTS host Tom Bergeron confirmed that the captain will be paired with Cheryl Burke and the two will be dancing the Buccanner Shuffle to the Kink's "Set Me Free."

Bergeron commented that while Phillips was attending the University of Massachusetts he entered a university dancing contest and he and his partner, Nicoleta Gutzlaff won first place.

One month later they captured the National Collegiate Dancing Championship which was held at Badlands Junior College in Rapid City, South Dakota.

He and Nicoleta received the $10,000 grand prize and a used cargo vessel The Calamity Jane. Phillips gave Nicoleta the $10,000 and he kept The Calamity Jane, which he later renamed The Maersk Alabama.

In a developing story. "Dancing With The Stars" judge Bruno Tonioli is being considered for the lead role in the movie, Liberace - The Man And His Amazing Ivory Ticklers.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
