HOLLYWOOD, California - Cindy McCain was asked by the producers of the television hit show, "Dancing With The Stars" to appear on the show.

Cindy was extremely flattered as well as tremendously thrilled. She told the show's producers that she would definitely love to appear as one of the celebrity dancers.

She called up a dozen of her closest girlfriends and gave them the exciting news.

And so the prodcers of 'Dancing With The Stars' and Cindy McCain finalized their plans. The contract was drawn up and Cindy took it to show to her husband.

John McCain would not even read it. He told her in no uncertain terms that he was vetoing the whole 'Dancing With The Stars' idea. Period.

Cindy was totally heartbroken over his decision. She was literally devastated at how John had crushed her opportunity for her to do something that she really wanted to do.

And especially after she had been by his side for a whole year relentlessly campaigning day in and day out.

But being the dedicated and devoted little old GOP Barbie Doll wife that she is, Cindy McCain went along with her husband's decision.

When John was asked to comment on why he would not allow his wife to appear on the show he replied, "Well my friend, it's like this. I am 72, but I look 82. Cindy is 54, but she looks 44. So you do the math."

McCain then said that if Cindy had gone on that show, she would have had literally thousands of guys ogling her in those skimpy little sexy dancing outfits that the women wear.

And then he would probably end up as being the man who not only lost a presidential election but who also lost a very, very, very, rich wife as well.

McCain smiled and said, "Hey, friend, this old ex-POW might be stupid, but he ain't dumb."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
