HOLLYWOOD, California - The host of ABC's 'Dancing With The Stars' Tom Bergeron has said that Senator John McCain and Governor Sarah Palin have both agreed to appear on a special edition of 'Dancing With The Stars.'
The show will be entitled, 'Dancing With The Losers.' The first part of the show will feature John McCain dancing a cha cha cha with professional dancer Edyta Sliwinska. That performance will be followed by Sarah Palin dancing a samba with Derek Hough.
Bergeron said that both couples will be judged by the show's regular judges and the winner will receive a $400 gift certificate from Victoria's Secret. The loser will receive dinner for three at Hollywood's famed 'Out of the Frying Pan and Into the Fire Sushi Bar & Guppy Grill.'
Both couples will also be competing in a costume dance with McCain dressed as a POW and Sliwinska dressed as a Vietnamese guard. They will be dancing to the song 'The Ballad Of The Green Berets.'
Then Sarah Palin will come out dressed as a moose hunter and her partner Derek Hough will be dressed as a moose. They will be dancing to the theme song from the movie 'Dances With Wolves.'
And in the show's finale, the two couples will be joined by Cloris Leachman, Jerry Springer, Marie Osmond, and Wayne Newton. All four couples will be dressed in Philadelphia Phillies uniforms and dance a total of three group performances to the songs 'Layla' by Eric Clapton, 'I Kissed A Girl,' by Katy Perry, and 'Coldest Winter' by Kanye West.
In related news, the Fading Stars of The Left Coast Talent Agency has just signed John McCain, Sarah Palin, and Tina Fey to go on a 39-US-Canadian city tour. The three will sing, dance, tell off-color jokes, play a Creedence Clearwater Revival medley on the maracas, juggle McCain-Palin campaign signs, and perform a high wire act.
They are being billed as 'Big Mac & The Twin Racks.' Their opening act will be Toby Keith. Tickets can be purchased over the Internet through The Mrs. Yogi Berra Ticket Agency.
