The "Dancing With The Stars curse strikes both Jewel and Nancy O'Dell!
ABC announced that both women dropped out of their top rated competition as a result of knee injuries during rehearsals.
Jewel was diagnosed with a fractured tibia in both legs; Nancy has a torn meniscus that will require surgery. Both had badly damaged kneecaps.
Neither would say how their knees were injured so badly.
Already named as a substitute are Tonya Harding and Pacman Jones who were luckily hanging around back stage after the accidents happened.
"Though we share in their disappointment that they can no longer continue, their physical well-being takes precedent above all else. We thank them both for giving it their all and wish them a quick and full six months-to year long recovery," the show's executive producer said in a statement.
Asked to speak for Jewel, her agent stated "No Comment!" as he hobbled across the floor.
The other replacements will be that hip-swinging couple, Rosie O'Donnell and Al Gore!
