After a week of tense and sometimes aggressive negotiations Hi There! Magazine has beaten out other high priced bidders and won the right to not publish pictures of Sarah Palins' baby.
"It was the highest prices I've ever seen," said a magazine insider, "nobody wanted those pictures so the money was astronomical!"
Other magazines in the race declined to comment but sources tell us the figure 'was in the high six figures.' It is understood that the money might have eclipsed the amount Brad and Angelina received for their baby photos.
"I don't think this will be beaten for a while," said Marc Peters, an industry expert.
He added "Well, that is until Chelsea Clinton gets pregnant- magazines will pay anything not to publish those photos!"
We'll just have to wait and see...
