Palin as he might look as Palin

Michael Palin is set to play self-proclaimed pitbull-with-lipstick Sarah 'Hockey Mom' Palin in a new romantic comedy based on her life. The film, to be titled "Before the Lipstick" will be directed by Richard Curtis, and will reunite Palin and Jamie Lee Curtis, his co-star in the film 'A Fish Called Wanda' as Sarah Palin's husband Todd Palin.

Curtis was reportedly "dazed and confused" when he realised that his personal choice for the role of Todd Palin, Raul Julia, had been dead since 1994. Curtis however, responded by commenting that "Curtis is the best person for the job, we know of yesterday."

When Palin was asked how he felt about 'dragging-up' to play the lead role as the Alaskan politician, he replied "Well to be fair, I couldn't care less...I mean we look like eachother a lot so...yeah..."

When asked about the casting at the Republican Convention, Palin said "Well, I certainly hope you include the awkward sex sessions endured by my husband, as every time I have had sex, a child has been produced, and that's really what I want to promote as would-be-V-P."

The casting fuels reports not only of nepotism on Curtis' part for hiring Curtis, but that Mr. Palin was only hired to play Mrs. Palin just because they both share the surname Palin. Curtis responded to critics by saying "Trust me, I know what I'm doing," just hours before he crashed his SUV into 'In Da Club' rap-ster 50 Cent (Curtis James Jackson III). Declining for comment on this incident were Palin, Palin, Palin, Curtis, Curtis and Fiddy.

'Before the Lipstick' is due for release in January 2009.
